In recent years, Europe has witnessed the emergence and consolidation of a diverse constellation of Additive Manufacturing hubs - each one driving innovation, accelerating adoption, and cultivating talent within its own national, regional or sectorial context. While some hubs have already made a strong national impact, others are rapidly growing, investing great efforts to achieve similar milestones. Now, the moment has come to interconnect deeper, to unite strengths, and build a stronger and broader AM hubs network that elevates the maturity, collaboration, and overall impact of the European AM ecosystem, in both, national and international levels.
The next phase of progress calls for building upon these strong foundations to establish a new collaborative paradigm — one that transcends borders, aligns with shared ambitions, and expands collective impact through a broader, joint European framework.
Addliance represents the shared vision and motivation of many Europe's AM hubs, organisations and entities - to interconnect deeply, unite their knowledge and capabilities, and forge a collaborative framework that empowers the entire ecosystem to grow stronger and build a broader AM hubs network that elevates the maturity and overall impact of the European AM ecosystem, between all the different sector-specific, regional, national and international levels.
The (Add)liance participants, we believe that real impact emerges through aligned vision and coordinated action. As a pan-European alliance, our shared objectives reflect the common ambition of AM hubs leading stakeholders across regions, countries, sectors, and disciplines. They define the path we purse together - to strenghten Europe's AM ecosystem, foster collaborative innovation, and amplify our collective ability to lead the transformation of industry.

Addliance is born from this conviction: to drive the transformation of European industry through Additive Manufacturing as a key enabling technology. Our mission is to influence the future of manufacturing by promoting a specialized, collaborative, and forward-looking vision of AM — one that strengthens industrial sovereignty and accelerates the transition toward a greener and more versatile production model.
Through this collaboration, we identify common European challenges and trends across industrial, technological, economic, and social dimensions, in order to deliver shared conclusions, guidelines, strategic recommendations, and actionable insights.
These will support and empower private institutions, public administrations, policy makers, tech-transfer centers, academia, and other key industrial stakeholders to build a more flexible, self-sufficient, resilient, sustainable and competitive advanced manufacturing landscape in Europe— driven by the broader (add)option AM technologies as a key enabling technology.
